Destination Big Island
Larger than all of the other islands combined, the island of Hawaii, is called the "Big Island". The island is unique as it has many climatic zones from sandy beaches to snowcapped mountains. Rich in ancient history the big island is where the first Polynesians landed and where King Kamehameha was born.

Enjoy the works of North Kohala's writers and artists or visit the galleries and coffee farms of Holualoa. Be amazed with Waimea's paniolo (cowboy) country or the jet black beaches of Punalu'u Beach.
